Beat the heat this Summer with these 5 delicious (and super easy!) snacks that your toddler is bound to love! Made with simple ingredients using fruits and veggies, you can be sure that snacktime will be tasty, healthy, and hassle free!
1) Frozen Grapes
This recipe couldn't be any easier! Simply remove grapes from the vine, place in a bowl, and freeze! You will have delicious and sweet frozen grapes in 1 hour.
2) Watermelon Pops
Is it just us, or is everything more fun to eat when it's served on a stick? This easy-as-can-be treat is a perfect substitute for popsicles or other sugary desserts.
Simply cut watermelon into triangle shapes, and serve on a popsicle stick. Voila! Delicious and free of artificial sweeteners.
3) Non-Dairy Banana Peanut Ice Cream
Nothing says Summer more than... ice cream! This delicious 'ice cream' requires only 2 ingredients - and no dairy!
To make, blend together 2 frozen bananas and 1 tbsp of peanut butter. Serve immediately.
4) Frozen Yogurt Bark
Get creative with frozen yogurt bark! Not only is this treat super tasty, it's super fun to make as well!
To make, mix a handful of your favorite berries with 2 cups of Greek yogurt, and sweeten to taste with honey. Then, pour mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 2 hours. Cut into snack sized pieces and serve!
5) Apple Nachos
Who says nachos have to be made with chips and cheese? Take a spin on traditional nachos with this yummy apple treat.
To make, cut green apples into slices, and drizzle with caramel sauce or peanut butter (warm up in microwave for best result). Top with raisins, chocolate chips, or peanuts!
